A Carolina Cobras were the franchise in the Arena Football League. A team was formed before a 2000 season. It played their personal games around Raleigh, North Carolina at the Raleigh Sports & Entertainment Arena (Now called the RBC Center) prior to the 2003 season, and were then based in the Charlotte Coliseum. In September 20, 2004, a league announced the termination of this franchise; its players were processed available to the more AFL teams around an diffusion draft.
